Collaborating and creating with my student community is my favorite medium for creative expression – they are my art! Sources for great art making ideas are unlimited  and are naturally informed and influenced by a student’s interest in the natural world, current events, architecture, mathematics, literature, philosophy, music, sports, theatre, etc… I have joined with teachers in the humanities and sciences making connections in cross-curricular concepts. Integration also opens the door to differentiated learning possibilities, as it taps into individual interests, strengths, and modes of understanding.
